What is an overhead establishing shot and what does it achieve?
An overhead establishing shot is a shot that shows space around the room, and the characters position within the whole room.
What is a shot-reverse-shot?
This is a shot that shows cutting backwards and forwards showing a conversation between the two, and the other persons reaction.
What is eye line matching?
This is a shot showing co-oridination between two characters, one guy within 'Hustle' is standing and looking down to another person. Whilst the other person who is sitting down, is looking up connecting vision with the other person.
Why do we cut to the other members of the group?
The reason why he does that because he wanted to see the reaction of the group, also he wanted to just see their faces.
What is a wipe?
A wipe is a transition that is used to show a different location and timezone.
What is the effect of using cuts?
The use of quick cuts creates a fast rhythm also to keep the story moving. And furthermore, to keep the audience engaged.
